How Far Have We Fallen?

In an era where we take for granted pretty much everything about our "modern" society, most people consider us as a whole race to be making great progress, But is that really accurate? Look at this school test from the 8th grade in 1912 I came across while doing my daily web surfing

I can't begin to answer some of these questions of the top of my head and I suspect many others can not either.This is clear evidence that our education systems are not evolving but quite the opposite. Considering that just about everyone has a mobile phone with a calculator included in it, which i use almost daily, and calculators weren't around in 1912.
